Inside the Deadly Capitol Shooting
With a mob approaching, a police lieutenant fatally shot a woman trying to vault through a window near the House Chamber.

During the four-and-a-half-hour attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6, one of the moments when the mob came closest to the lawmakers they were pursuing took place just after 2:30 p.m.
On one side of a set of antique wood and glass doors were dozens of lawmakers and their aides trying to evacuate the House chamber.
On the other were rioters yelling “Stop the steal” as they hammered the panes with a flagpole, a helmet and even a bare fist.

MILWAUKEE, WI – A Milwaukee-area man has been charged in connection with the deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
David Charles Mish, Jr., 41 of West Allis, has been charged with unlawful entry and violent entry and disorderly conduct and appeared before a federal judge in Milwaukee on Friday, according to FOX6.
According to the court filing, Mish told the D.C. Metropolitan Police on Jan. 7, the day after the insurrection, he had information about the death of Ashli Babbit, an Air Force veteran from San Diego who was shot and killed by a Capitol Police officer as she attempted to get into the House Speaker s Lobby.
