Health officials warn the worst is yet to come. The outbreak started in guinea, there has been 607 cases and 406 deaths since march. Liberia recorded the greetest number, 1,082. Of these 624 diet. In sierra leone 910 caught the virus. 392 have died. Nigeria recorded 16 cases, five deaths. Erica woods report. Reporter now more than ever, doctor, disease experts, aid groups, the world over has stark warnings, its no longer africas problem. The world has never seen an outbreak of ebola like this. I wish is didnt have to say this, but it is going to get worse before it gets better. It will be some time before they get a handle on the virus. Reporter good morning, annemarie. New yorks governor softened the quarantine. But newarks governor did not. After a weekend of fierce opposition from the white house and some medical exports, new York Governor Andrew Cuomo updated his states 21day quarantine protocol. Following screening at the airport cuomo says anyone who shows no symptoms of ebola can now quarantine themselves at home.
