Derby day win sees Ollerton Town end 2020 top of the table Published: 06:00, 01 January 2021 The Christmas festivities were put to one side as Boxing Day became derby day in the East Midlands Counties League as Ollerton Town made the short â and worthwhile â trip to Shirebrook Town, where they ran out 4-0 winners. Ollerton almost took the lead in the third minute after Gav King played in Ben Partridge down the right and, after cutting inside, the Town winger squared the ball to Sam Stretton. The skipper took a touch and hit a superb left-footed effort that thudded off the Shirebrook bar with home âkeeper Mike Ball beaten.
