Reporter state officials leaving Montefiore Medical Center in the bronx saturday with a test sample from one of the hospitals cooling to yours as part of a blitz to stop the spread of legionnaires legionnaires disease. The state effort for exampling on testing 100 cooling towers in five sections of the bronx, fordham, mount eden, hunts point, mott haven and highbridge. We are here today to help manage this process. Theres 108 case, and theres not been a new case in four days, but the risk lingers in parts of the bronx. Matt kozar has more. The cdc and state Health Inspectors are working with the city to get it all under control, and this weekend, they are pulling out all the stops. Scene at international boulevard and 8th avenue. Reporter good morning. About 15 to 20 people are displaced this morning because of this fire. The red cross is here on the scene this morning to help these people find a place to stay. The fire broke out at 808 international at 2 30 this morning. It started in some apartments above commercial stores here on international. The fire spread across an alley to a duplex on 8th street. This is an olds building in a densely populated area which provided challenges for firefighters. They had a hard time getting through security gates to get to the fire. Now, right now, firefighters are looking for hot spots and removing debris. Investigators are on the scene trying to determine the cause of the fire.
