We continue now with our look at the history of harrisburg. We are in the storage tower of the Pennsylvania State archives, located in harrisbu, pennsylvania. The state archives is the official repository for the public records of pennsylvania, particularly those from State Government right we have some responsibility for county and local government records. We hold about 70,000 cubic feet and that is 250 million pages of material throughout the storage tower. We are looking at some material from the Archive Holdings regarding the Nuclear Accident at three mile island. The accident started on march 28, 1979. There was a partial marked out of the core of the reactor in the facility. It is located south of harrisburg, about six miles. The facility is on an island in the susquehanna river.
