Myrlee Holler Potosnik passed away on Nov. 29, 2020. She will be remembered as an engaged teacher and a gentle caregiver.
Myrlee was born on Nov. 13, 1925, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Gordon and Bess Holler.
An eager student, Myrlee was proud of attending Omaha Central High School where she was active in many clubs and in athletics, where she excelled in swimming. A keen science student, she received several scholarships and decided to attend the University of Nebraska, where she majored in pre-med. Myrlee’s religious upbringing, and strong interest in science, had influenced her at this time to possibly serve as a missionary doctor.
