Team of 12 are past the finish line after raising €3,653

The team of 12 People Newspapers staff in Wexford and Wicklow have now completed their 1,200 kilometre challenge raising a huge €3,653 for the suicide prevention charity Talk To Tom. Keeping a social distance while handing over the cheque to Talk To Tom CEO Ray Cullen in Gorey, he explained that the service is now the busiest it has ever been in its eight year existence and that this money raised will go a long way to support its life-changing work. Opening up new premises in Arklow and Enniscorthy, and having recently taken over control of Taxi Watch which provides training to taxi drivers in suicide intervention, the team were happy in the knowledge that the money they raised through online and in-person donations while completing the 100 kilometres each will go to a specific Talk To Tom project of their choice.
