128 million. No, that s not the price in dollars - it s the number of combinations available to customers when specifying their unique Pininfarina Battista, billed as Italy s most powerful road car ever when it was revealed in 2019. Rolls-Royce once said that nearly every car it makes is unique. That isn t a surprise considering the many unique Phantom sedans and Cullinan SUVs we ve seen. Automobili Pininfarina has now made the same claim about the Battista hyper GT.
Along with its sensational power and world-class connectivity technology, Pininfarina is keen to highlight its Bespoke personalization program. It has now revealed the first Bespoke commission of the Battista which was inspired by New York City. It s an absolute beauty.
The very first bespoke commission of Pininfarina’s 1,874-horsepower Battista electric hypercar is here, and boy is it a looker. Inspired by New York City, the red, white, and blue color scheme was created through Pininfarina’s Bespoke customization program, which will offer each of the Battista’s 150 customers limitless personalization options when designing their car.
Upon first glance of the exterior, it may just look like a normal red, white, and blue color scheme, but look closer and you’ll discover that the deep blue is actually not solid, rather a blue carbon fiber weave.
Called Exposed Signature Carbon with Blu Iconica thread, Pininfarina touts it as the first application of its kind in the automotive industry. The parts of the car that are painted, however, will be done so by hand, and according to Pininfarina, will take hundreds of hours to complete.
