Town defender Jonas Knudsen is out to make it three goals in as many games against Norwich when they visit Portman Road on Sunday for the eagerly-awaited latest instalment of the East Anglian derby.
A strong Town reserve side beat their Norwich counterparts 3-0 at Portman Road on Monday night. Danny Haynes opened the scoring, with strike partner Dean Bowditch and midfielder Liam Trotter completing the scoring.
Full-back David Wright is expected to return to the Town side at Burnley on Tuesday as the Blues continue to chase their first away win of the season. Wright returns after an infected blister on a heel, while manager Jim Magilton has vowed to make other changes to his side.
Disappointing Town fell to a 3-0 defeat at Burnley s Turf Moor. The Blues had started brightly but rarely looked like getting back into the game after James O Connor s 33rd minute opener, Garreth O Connor and Chris McCann adding to the Clarets lead in the second half.
Town have announced a 19-man squad for Saturday s game at Hull City (KO 12.30pm). Danny Haynes is back after completing his three-match suspension for a red card in the reserves.
