It saddens me to hear selfish and arrogant snowbirds claim they somehow deserve to be exempt from COVID public health regulations or guidelines.
Firstly, the non-essential travel restriction guidelines have been in place for months. You chose to fly south to escape winter in the middle of a pandemic. Common sense dictates that you better be prepared for “some inconveniences” related to your decision to ignore guidelines and travel anyway.

Secondly, the travel policies are not in effect to limit your personal freedom. They are in place to protect the public by limiting the spread of COVID.

R.U.D.I. is the second germ-zapping robot at JRMC, joining R.O.S.I.E. They are Xenex LightStrike germ-zapping robots, designed to destroy hard-to-kill microscopic bacteria, viruses or other microorganisms.
