Police: NY man charged with DWI in Hoboken for driving wrong way down a one-way street

Vasilis Psoras, 39, of Woodhaven, New York, was charged with DWI, refusal to submit to chemical testing, reckless driving, and wrong way on a one way, according to Police Det. Lt. Danilo Cabrera.
On Saturday at about 3:51 a.m., Sgt. Roary Miller observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Hudson Street from Hudson Place. Miller conducted a motor vehicle stop in the area of 90 Hudson St.
Upon speaking to the driver, Miller suspected he was under the influence of an intoxicant. Officer Ricky Truppner responded and conducted a Standardized Field Sobriety Test on the driver, identified as Psoras.

Mickey Mendez, 21, of Jersey City, along with Jamil Rivera, 20, Kyeise Lopez, 22, Joseph Crandell, 28, and Keshon Crandell 21, all of Hoboken, were charged with rioting, disorderly conduct, and simple assault, according to Police Det. Lt. Danilo Cabrera.
Additionally, Mendez was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, while Joseph Crandell was charged with resisting arrest.
Yesterday at about 12:46 p.m., Hoboken police officers were dispatched to the area of 3rd and Harrison Streets on a report of a group of men fighting in the street. It was also reported that one of the men involved was seen with a handgun.
