Cider I up on Silverthorne Lane

The Cider Box currently uses land opposite its bar on Silverthorne Lane in St Philip’s Marsh as an al fresco terrace and an extension to its tap room. A concrete strip has repurposed for what Cider Box founder Daniel Heath calls “an outdoor cider emporium”, which can seat 40 guests on benches and tables. FORT WALTON BEACH Brendon Scarver, a 23-year-old Fort Walton Beach man arrested Friday following a burglary in Destin, was charged but never prosecuted for second-degree murder following the May 20, 2019, shooting death of Cordell Smart. Smart, 19, was an innocent bystander outside a home at 110 Oakhill Avenue off Beal Parkway when a gunfight broke out between two rival groups. He had wandered unaware into a bad situation that had its origins in robbery. On the day of the fatal shooting, Gaige Monfils had told two friends he had been robbed and wanted to retaliate. A marijuana deal was arranged to lure a man named Craig Rudolph to the home on Oakhill Avenue.
