BLOOMINGTON, Ind. X women on the Clemson track and field team earned their spot in the NCAA quarterfinals on the second day of competition at NCAA East Region Prelims. ACC Champion Trishauna Hemmings, Kiara Grant and XXX will participate on Saturday for the opportunity to go to Eugene, Ore. for NCAA National Championships. Hemmings kicked off the action for the Tigers, securing her spot in the quarterfinals by winning her heat with a time of 13.23 in the 100 meter hurdles. Grant finished the 100 meter dash in 11.29 second, just a hundredth of a second behind her personal best. That time was good for second in her heat and saw her through to the quarterfinals.   On Friday, Clemson will have 13 entrees in men's quarterfinals events, including an entree in both the 4100 meter and 4x400 meter relays.
