Welcome to the programme. There is driving wind and torrential rainfall that has already arrived in florida, several hours before Hurricane Milton is due to arrive. The national Weather Service has confirmed in the last hour there are at least ten active Tornado Warnings in the region. We have been tracking an extremely dangerous tornado heading north near fort myers. And thats not the half of it. Right now milton is 150 miles south west of tampa with sustained winds of 145 mph, and very soon it will be pushing water onto the coast, with a Storm Surge of 15 feet expected in the worst hit areas. You can see how much the camera is shaking with the wind there, and obviously large waves warned of Storm Surges and rising water levels, as you can see coming up over the beach and onto the barriers, and beyond. And just to show how dangerous this storm is, even with the storm still offshore, it is already causing damage.
