Kpix 5 legal analyst Ladoris Cordell says it comes down to a question of whether or not the judge can be fair and impartial. They did not believe that he could be fair. And by fair meaning i think not in the presiding over the trial itself but if there were a conviction, they dont believe that office does not believe that he would be fair in the sentencing based upon what happened in the turner case.
