OHH Foundation donates to hospital

The Olney Hamilton Hospital Foundation re-elected its current slate of officers, heard reports about the foundation’s finances, and donated funds to the hospital at its annual meeting on April 10.

Hospital Foundation re-elects Officers and grants Capital Request to OHH

Thu, 04/29/2021 - 12:00am The Board of Directors of the Olney Hamilton Hospital Foundation met Monday, April 12, 2021, at 5 p.m. at the Olney Hamilton Hospital Education Building located at 901 W. Hamilton Street. The following members were present: Dr. Steve Atchley, Lewis Farmer, Marilyn Ickert, Trina Johnson, Don Matthews, Mark McClelland, Kendall Montgomery and Carla Perry. Members absent: Bill Price and Carl Craig. Also present: Mike Huff, Dale Lovett and Olney Enterprise Staff, Will Sadler and Ronni Walker. President Lewis Farmer called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m., welcomed the guests and board members and asked the members to review the minutes of the annual meeting June 1, 2020. Mark McClelland made a motion to accept the minutes as read, Kendall Montgomery seconded and the motion caried with unanimous approval.

Thu, 03/04/2021 - 12:00am By:  Ronni Walker | Mmc The Olney Hamilton Hospital Board President Dale Lovett called the budget meeting to order at 6: 45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at 902 Hamilton St., the Hamilton Hospital Education Center. The board members present included Dale Lovett (Chairman), Bob Craig (Vice chairman), Rita Choat (Secretary), Annetta Buenger, Lyndsey Miller, Ron Rogers, Lonnie Rue, Dr. Jeremy Johnson and Randy Whitmire. The board had reviewed the budget previously and proceeded with a unanimous vote to approve the 2019- 2020 Operating and Capital Budget for Olney Hamilton Hospital District. Before adjournment, the board answered questions regarding the retention bonuses that have been in effect since 2018, according to Lovett’s follow-up response. CEO Mike Huff confirmed that the staff who are part of the hospital administration are eligible to receive a re-tention bonus.

The meeting began with the approval of the Dec. 4 meeting minutes, as well as the approval of the Dec. 26 special called meeting. First on the agenda was the administrator’s report, followed by a medical staff report, which included the regular monthly business, approving the credential list, and discussing the CNO and quality assurance reports. In addition, the board discussed the finance and budget committee report, and they approved the financial statements and the writeoff of bad debts.
