While two of their aircraft are parked at St. Thomas Municipal Airport, Passion Air is not starting flight service from the city to their home base in Ghana, West Africa. Airport superintendent Dale Arndt says the planes will be here for some time undergoing maintenance at new airport tenant Smart Aviation Maintenance.
According to Planespotters.net the two planes no longer are owned by Passion Air and instead were returned to Bombardier Capital of Canada earlier this month. Passion Air had leased the planes from the company in 2018. They were built in Canada by Bombardier.
