Details of Steve Clinkscale s contract at Michigan revealed

Photo by Michael Allio/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images Welcome to a revamped Daily Brews, where we will be combining all of our roundups into one piece that drops every day. This will include news, recruiting, links from around the country and more. Enjoy! The Michigan Wolverines sealed the deal last week with former Kentucky defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale as a last-minute replacement for Maurice Linguist. Now, we know what it took for head coach Jim Harbaugh and the program to make the hire happen. Clinkscale signed a three-year contract with Michigan that will pay him at least $600,000 per year, according to the findings from a FOIA request by MLive. A pay bump and title change could also come for him if this year’s pass defense ranks in the top 25 in the country. That would raise his salary to $700,000 and earn him the co-defensive coordinator title that Linguist carried before leaving for Buffalo.
