India’s one of the best openers, Virendra Sehwag has credited MS Dhoni’s success in cricket to former captain Sourav Ganguly’s sacrifices.
Sehwag, who retired from international cricket on October 20, 2015, said that Ganguly was one of the few captains who gave away his own batting spot twice for Virendra Sehwag and MS Dhoni.

Kolkata, Jan 02: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday visited the private hospital where BCCI president Sourav Ganguly is admitted and said the former India captain is doing fine following an angioplasty to clear a blocked coronary artery. He is fine now. He enquired about my health, too. I thank the hospital authority and the doctors, Banerjee told reporters outside Woodlands Hospital here.
