Bismarck State College is well-known in the capital city for its many athletic programs including basketball, baseball, volleyball, and even online gaming. However, what many may not know is that BSC, like many other colleges in the Great Plains area, once had a team to engage in the Western tradition. Although it has since faded from the athletics roster in recent years, a recent development promises to bring the beloved sport back to the college, all thanks to a combination of interest from athletes and figures around our community.
