DUBAI, 11 hours, 14 minutes ago After holding it in digital format in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Global Airport Leaders Forum (GALF) will be staged for the eighth time at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from May 24 to 26. As a co-located event of the 20th edition of Airport Show, the world’s largest airport industry B2B event, the much-anticipated aviation industry gathering will see 50-plus speakers addressing the participants, both physically and virtually. Talking virtually will be Saif Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Major General Khalifa Ibrahim Al Saleis, CEO of Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) that was set up in 2016 to provide Dubai with the highest levels of safety and security.
Today marks the kick off of the inaugural US Cyber Games™ led by Katzcy, in cooperation with the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) program at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The program will run from April to October 2021 and consist of the US Cyber Open, the US Cyber Combine Invitational, and the selection of the first-ever US Cyber Team™ to represent the United States at the 2021 International Cyber Security Challenge (ICSC) held in Athens, Greece in December.
The need for cybersecurity professionals has never been greater and continues to grow. “Women shouldn’t be scared of cyber. It’s a hugely rewarding career for anyone, regardless of gender,” says Jane. After decades of quiety building a name for herself in her sector, she hopes to inspire a new generation of women to enter the traditionally male-dominated field.
