PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University is getting a $1.5 million grant from the Department of Defense to start a cybersecurity and research program.
The program will train ROTC and DOD civilian workers in computer science and cyber basics, operations and defense, offering bachelor’s degrees and other specialized certification.
The program is funded by the DOD’s Virtual Institutes for Cyber and Electromagnetic Research and Cyber Institutes initiative.
