A vigil and balloon release was held Thursday night for Timoteo Tim Cruz at the Justice Center. Cruz, a Cuyahoga County Corrections officer, was one of two victims of a fatal shooting in Parma last weekend
Michael Acierno and Timoteo Tim Cruz both died at the scene during the incident. Cruz, an off-duty Cuyahoga County corrections officer working as a security guard for the bar, apparently risked his own life by firing his own weapon at the suspects after Acierno was shot first.
