Russian companies may suspend oil supplies to Navapolatsk Naftan in May amid U.S. sanctions, which order to terminate all relations with the plant by June 3, four sources in the industry told Reuters. Meanwhile, Mozyr refinery, which was not affected by the restrictions, was planning to go on repairs in May, according to tut.by.
The largest suppliers of raw materials to Naftan are Rosneft and Surgutneftegaz. Tatneft and Mikhail Gutseriyev s companies (Russneft and Neftisa) also supply raw materials to the plant. According to the interlocutors, Rosneft and Surgutneftegaz are not planning to sell oil to Navapolatsk enterprise next month, as they are afraid of being affected by secondary sanctions.
