Investors are reacting to the latest data on wages in the us, which suggest bigger Interest Rate rises might be on the way. Katie silver reports. The Dow Jones Industrial average, which measures the performance of 30 major companies, fell by an unprecedented 1,175 points. And it wasnt the only index to tumble. The trouble began last friday when new figures showed wages in the us were growing faster than expected. Investors predict that a rise in salaries will cause more people to spend more, pushing up inflation.
