Cambridge swears-in two new police officers, new firefighter

The City of Cambridge recently conducted its first-ever joint swearing-in ceremony for two new police officers and a city firefighter in Council Chambers downtown.
While not new to the profession, former Byesville Police Chief Jason May and former Guernsey County Sheriff s Lt. Curtis Braniger took the oath as the city s newest police officers, while Cody Cole was sworn-in as the newest firefighter. This is another exciting day for the City of Cambridge, said Police Chief Mark DeLancey. To bring this amount of experience and training is huge for the department and the city.
