people, re-directed to fund speeches by a former football star. those speeches never even happened. plus, an emotional day in uvalde, texas, as students return to school for the first time since the massacre, as the 11th hour gets underway on this tuesday night. good evening once again, i m stephanie ruhle. we begin with major breaking news in the justice departments investigation into those documents seized at former presidents florida club. the washington post reports, they included highly classified information about a foreign government s nuclear program. quote, a document described a foreign governments military defenses, including its nuclear capabilities, was fined by fbi agents who searched the former presidents private club last month. according to people familiar with the matter. they detailed top secret we operation, so closely guarded that many senior national security officials are kept in the dark about them. earlier, one of the officials who broke the story
judge cannon seems to say that a former president might be different in her view than a regular joe. quoting her now, as plaintiff articulated at the hearing, the investigation and treatment of a former president is of unique interest to the general public, and the country is best served by an orderly process that promotes the interest and perception of fairness. unique interest, she writes, before granting what the former attorney general under president trump, no less, recently said this about. well, i think the whole idea of a special master is a bit of a red herring at this stage since they ve already gone through the documents. i think it s a waste of time. agree or disagree with that notion and whatever you might think of how judge cannon arrived at her decision, we ll talk about what it portends with our legal experts in just a moment. first, cnn s sara murray who has all the latest on the ruling itself. walk us through what the judge issued today. reporter: as y
odessa. for the third time in ten days, the ukrainian authorities are deeply concerned about the disconnect of eight nuclear reactor at the zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. which is 20 miles south of the city of 700,000 people, because they say that it has been disconnected, forcing the use of the backup power, the diesel generating system in order to cool the nuclear reactor. now, this is happened three times in the, past and every time it has happened the concerns over a nuclear meltdown increase. now, there are two un inspectors still on the site. they re supposed to be there permanently, or at least for the foreseeable future. so it will be interesting to see who they ll, blame or whether they go public with what s going on there. meanwhile, the ukrainian president zelenskyy has been claiming relatively limited success saying that it least two villages in the south, during the southern offensive here have been captured. and one village in the east. now, these villages
