County are investigating what theyre calling a murder suicide. A family of five was found dead in a home in Sinking Spring just outside of reading. The berks County District attorney identified the family as mark short, his wife megan and their three children. The District Attorney says they died of gunshot wounds. Their bodies were discovered yesterday afternoon in a house on Winding Brook drive. Police plan to release more information about the investigation later on today. New this morning, police tell us a man was shot while driving a car with his two kids inside in west philadelphia. This happened just after 1 00 this morning near the corner of 55th and spring street. According to authorities the man was shot in the face. Right now hes in critical condition. A short time after this shooting in an unrelated incident, a 36yearold man died. He was shot in southwest philadelphia. Then nine minutes later lat Capitol One Bank was robbed, ro, this one also on connecticuticut avenue further north in chevyn c chase. Then at 11 35 the bb and t bank in the wheaton kensingtoneo area was robbed. Police say nobody wasay nody physically injured in thelyuredi robberies and witnesses didne not see the robber display a gun.
