Former Union Minister of Law, Communication and IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad, while speaking at Business Today’s Crypto Conclave today, sounded a note of caution by saying that crypto is a disruptive technology and maximum care should be taken when walking on this ground.
At the BT Crypto Conclave along with Jayant Sinha were other legislators, including Priyanka Chaturvedi from Shiv Sena, Pinaki Misra from BJD, and Rajeev Gowda, a former MP from Congress. All the panelists threw light on some crucial themes pertaining to the crypto industry.
Industry experts at the Business Today Crypto Conclave argue that despite the huge tech talent pool India offers, there is a serious demand-supply gap when it comes to blockchain technologies.
There's clearly a recognition that the digital virtual asset is a category of assets going forward, whether it's an NFT or crypto, or even something else in the future, these are things that people will start accumulating through the liberalized remittance scheme (LRS) or any other way,” said Chandrasekhar.
