On the occasion ADC visited the stalls set up by the department and allied sectors and interacted with the farmers. He appealed to the people to be in close rapport with the experts of the agriculture and horticulture department and avail benefits of modern technology.
He also appealed to all the participating farmers to come forward and avail the technical knowhow which is being provided to them by the department through qualified agriculture technocrats.
Later ADC Bandipora handed over two tractors, a tiller and an auto rickshaw to the farmers under different schemes on subsidized rates. Four progressive farmers were also felicitated on the occasion for best performance during the last season.
