Italy s post-earthquake donations strengthened Croatian-Italian ties – EURACTIV com

Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman has thanked Italy for being one of the first countries to help Croatia by sending aid in the wake of a devastating earthquake at the end of last year. Italy sent 100 military tents immediately after the 29 December earthquake that hit Banija, Petrinja, Sisak and surrounding regions, along with members of the Blue Helmets of Culture to help salvage the affected artistic heritage. The country also donated container housing units able to accommodate up to 50 families who had lost their homes. “Italy itself faced devastating earthquakes in the recent past, so it decided to help immediately,” Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said after meeting with Grlić Radman. The latter thanked Italy for its help, which he said was another indicator of closeness and cooperation between the two countries.

BUDAPEST Hungarian doctors can’t recommend Russian, Chinese jabs without the paperwork. Without making public the documents related to the authorisation of the Russian Sputnik-V and Chinese Sinopharm vaccines  – especially the summary of product characteristics – the leadership of the Hungarian Medical Chamber “cannot recommend the use of these products to its colleagues in good conscience,” the doctors wrote to the Hungarian National Institute of Pharmacy and Food and Health (OGYÉI) on Tuesday.
