ASHLAND - Working in the medical field and teaching in schools has all come together for one Ashland couple.
The pandemic has not kept Lorin nor Judy Weaver from volunteering at the Ashland Pregnancy Care Center and Boutique, even after both contracted a mild case of COVID-19 late last year. I’m not going to stay shut up in the house, Judy Weaver said. I wear a mask [when volunteering].

CONVOY The Crestview Local Board of Education will permit open enrollment of students from any Ohio district through “open enrollment” for the 2021‐2022 school year.
Applications will be accepted beginning April 1, on a first‐come, first‐served basis, according to the time and date the application is received by the superintendent of Crestview Local Schools. Requests will be acted upon no later than July 1.
Applications will be considered in the order received and class size may be limited. All applications (except for kindergarten students) must be completed and returned no later than May 31. Applications are available by contacting the Superintendent’s Office at 419.749.9100, extension 4, or on the school website at www.crestviewknights.com under “Parent Resources”.

Randall and Debra Erath are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 9. They were married Jan. 9, 1971 at the Holy Trinity English Lutheran Church of Salem.
Randy is semi-retired from General Motors and works as a bus driver for Crestview Local Schools. Debbie is retired after working 34 years as a duty aide and librarian for Salem City Schools. They enjoy spending time camping at Geneva-On-The-Lake in the summer and are a constant support to their children and grandchildren.
They are celebrated by their two children, Amie (Rich) Cochran of Salem and Brad Erath of Homeworth, along with two grandchildren, Abigail and Halle Cochran.
