The valedictorian looked to her left, to spy more than 30 Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputies monitoring her every move.“To know they’re here to support me and watch me give this ridiculous speech on stage? It means a lot,” she told WYFF News Four.The men and women in blue have stood by her side since she was 1 year old. That’s the year her father, Deputy Alex Burdette, died in the line of duty while directing traffic.“There’s nowhere else I’d want to be today,” Lt. Rusty Scogins, one of Burdette’s co-workers and closest friends, said. “She’s very humble. Her dad was a great police officer and he was very humble. He took everything so seriously. schools vying for attention, the city is a veritable breeding ground for doctors, engineers and scientists. The pandemic, however, threatened to dull the sheen of Pune as an
education hub. But the outstanding institutions here swiftly rose to the challenge by providing seamless learning via virtual classes. While this year has been unforgiving for everyone, some schools have clearly surpassed expectations. In an effort to appreciate these institutions, here are the finest schools in the city recognised as game-changers in the field.

After Anderson High Schools announced their plans to hold proms this year, students started shopping for prom gowns, tuxedoes and corsages.
For seniors, next on their to-do lists will be shopping for graduation outfits and planning parties.
While proms were canceled last year, most schools did go forward with their graduation ceremonies. Most seniors found themselves graduating outside on their school football fields wearing masks, social distancing, avoiding handshakes and celebrating with the very limited guests they were allowed to bring.
This year, schools have a little more flexibility for their graduation ceremony plans. But most are still facing limitations due to the ongoing pandemic.
La Crescent Middle School students moving to virtual learning as COVID outbreak spreads
LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WXOW) - Following last week s announcement that students in grades 9-12 at La Crescent High School were going to virtual learning for two weeks after a spike in COVID-19 cases, the district said Monday the outbreak has spread to the middle school.
The district said that starting on Tuesday, April 27, all 5-12 grade students are on distance learning through at least May 10.
Activities and events scheduled for tonight are still on according to the district. After that, all K-12 activities are closed while the students in virtual learning.
