The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has spent nearly $5 million on upgrades at four of its parks in Lancaster County and three others in nearby counties.
Wrangler-guided horseback trail rides at Indian Cave State Park in southeast Nebraska will be discontinued. Instead, the park will focus more on shooting sports.
Nebraska has many opportunities thanks to its diverse habitats everything from prairie to ponderosa pine, wetlands and more than 23,000 miles of rivers and streams.
