Have created. The island is located north of the antioch waterfront. The part of the island burning is inaccessible by car. The only way to get there is by water or helicopter. We have pictures from news chopper 2 before it got dark. Fire crews were first called out about 3 00 this afternoon. The coast guard says it evacuated four people. Seven others left the island on their own, and three refused to leave choosing to stay behind. At this hour, there are no reports of any injuries. The coast guard says at least two fire boats were called to the area and have been putting water on the fire. Theres said to be about 30 homes on the island.
