There were 46 new COVID-19 cases reported in Waterloo region on Thursday. As well, the region has announced three pop-up vaccination clinics in Kitchener and Waterloo this weekend that can immunize children as well as offer third doses to people aged 70 and older and health-care workers.
There are a total of 312 active cases of COVID-19 in the region of Waterloo. The public health unit also advised of two new outbreaks: one in a stroke unit at Grand River Hospital and one at a construction worksite.
