For Summer 2024, the Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University will present two exhibitions deeply engaged with critical issues of climate, environment, and cross-generational identity.
“These murals are all gems,” mural project co-steward and event organizer Kamaar Taliaferro said. “To me, we’re lucky to be in a community like the Berkshires where there is natural beauty. But there is also beauty when it comes to a community like Pittsfield.”
Pittsfield residents gathered Saturday to celebrate the Westside Mural Project, which was done in collaboration with Westside Legends. One organizer says that it reflects the energy of the neighborhood.
The Westside Mural Project is hosting an open-air mural gallery and celebration of the artists from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Tucker Park, 190 Robbins Ave.
