Fun things to do in Columbus: free film, concerts and nature event

Documentary returns  In the wake of the verdict in the trial of Derek Chauvin and continuing incidents involving the killing of Black people by police officers, the Wexner Center for the Arts is again making the documentary “Cincinnati Goddamn” available to view for free on its website, wexarts.org. The 2015 film, which received support from the Wexner Center’s Film/Video Studio program, dives into police killings of Black men from 1995 to 2001 and will be available to view through May 20.  Siegfried  at the symphony  Classical music composers come up with the best birthday presents: On the occasion of his wife Cosima’s birthday, German composer Richard Wagner wrote “Siegfried Idyll” (the title of which refers to the Wagners’ son, Siegfried). In limited-capacity concerts at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Ohio Theatre, 39 E. Arts Glances - Mount Desert Islander

Arts Glances Gitlin hosts fun-filled program about funny programs  NORTHEAST HARBOR Join in on the fun on Wednesday, March 17 at 5 p.m., when the Northeast Harbor Library will host award-winning author and pop culture historian Martin Gitlin for a Zoom presentation to discuss his book, “The Greatest Sitcoms of All Time.”  In his book, Gitlin ranks the best of the best funny programs that ever aired. He will show snippets from those shows and others, challenge patrons with sitcom trivia, discuss the criteria he used to rank the shows and talk about how sitcoms have evolved over the decades in humor, presentation and content.
