Sarah Yvonne “Bunny” Cork, originally from Weirton, passed away Tuesday, February 9, as an in-patient at Allegheny General Hospital; she was 80 years old.
She was born June 18, 1940, in Guthrie, Kentucky. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie L. and Jessica Lamastus Markham, her first husband, Orval Renner, brothers GW, Elmer, Jimmy Ray Markham, sister Audrey Apostle, and grandmother Sara Ann Lamastus.
Sarah was a member of the Weir High graduating class of 1958 and a faithful member of the Impact Church in Weirton.
Sarah was a special occasion event planner and owner of Special Touches by Sarah., proudly displaying her brand on all her work that she designed. She also enjoyed shopping; so much that whatever she purchased was destined to be given away. Her greatest enjoyment in life was her family, and she was always concerned that they were adequately looked after, especially her grandkids.
