By Lucy Morgan Audience and Content Editor The Isle of Wight Green Party candidates standing on May 6. The Isle of Wight Green Party has revealed its full list of candidates for the May 6 elections. Existing parish and town councillors Daniel James, Joe Lever, Jaimie Bundell and Cameron Palin are all hoping for a seat at County Hall. The self-dubbed Green Team of 2021 are from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, including a former headteacher and police officer, an ex-nurse and a ex-care home worker.  They include a hospitality worker, therapist, town planning consultant, driving instructor and bar owner, as well as a musician, computer game developer, digital designer, classical performer, writer and artist).

He stepping down as ward councillor of Seaview and Nettlestone, it has been announced. Cllr Barry, who is in his mid-Seventies, has been a member of the authority since 1993 has been awarded the BEM (British Empire Medal) for services to the community of the Isle of Wight. Liberal Democrats revealed the final four candidates putting themselves forward for the May 6 election. Nick Stuart, chair of the Isle of Wight Liberal Democrats, said: With the 12 Liberal Democrat council candidates, and Richard Murphy as the candidate for police and crime commissioner, everyone on the Island has the opportunity to vote for a Liberal Democrat.
