Several studies have claimed that two doses of current vaccines might not be enough to give protection and people might need booster shots However experts argue that vaccines remain the best line of defence against COVID 19
The Government Accountability Office said Thursday it is designating the Health and Human Services Department’s leadership and coordination of public health emergencies as a “high risk” area for the government.
The study found that the effectiveness of the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines in reducing the risk of COVID-19 reached a peak of about 95 per cent two months after the first dose and then gradually declined.
