Telangana on Saturday registered 496 new COVID-19 cases. According to a bulletin released by the state Medical and Health department, 205 persons have fully recovered from the dread coronavirus. The recovery rate in the state stands at 90.03 per cent. There are 3,613 active coronavirus cases in the state. The highest number of 341 cases have been reported in the GHMC limits.
Although the country began vaccinating youngsters between the ages of 15 and 18 against COVID-19 on January 3, there is still a large number of children under the age of 18 who are infected with Covid-19 third wave, especially with Omicron. Hyderabad: Telangana reported 3840 new COVID-19 cases and nine deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the state health bulletin.
With the new cases, the total count of COVID-19 positive cases in the state has reached 3,41,885 including 3,09,594 discharges and 1797 deaths.
Currently, there are 30,494 active cases in Telangana. With 1198 patients recovering in the last 24 hours, the total tally of recoveries in the state has reached 3,09,594.
