Hyderabad: In the wake of the rapid spike of coronavirus cases, Telanagana on Sunday recorded its highest single day in the last six months with 3,187 new cases.
There were seven cases of death reported on Sunday. “With the cases rising, we strongly advise people to stay at home and go out only if necessary. Take all safety precautions like wearing masks and washing hands with soap or using sanitisers and maintain social distancing,” said Dr G Srinivasa Rao, director of Telanagana public health as per Times of India.
The rapid increase in the number of covid cases will get even will continue to increase if proper precautions are not taken by people said the health department of Telangana on Sunday.

Six days after returning to their hostels, 12 students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Sangareddy district have tested positive for Covid-19. All 12 students study in different classes and hail from different villages. 
Hyderabad: In a setback to the government’s move of reopening schools in Telangana, 12 students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) in Sangareddy district have tested positive for coronavirus.
The students who have tested positive are all from class 9, 10 and intermediate batch and had returned to their hostels six days ago. A Rapid Antigen Test was conducted on 150 students (132 students and 18 staff) out of which a dozen students tested positive.
