India's daily Covid chart showed improvement today, with the country reporting 20,799 fresh Covid cases, a drop of around nine per cent from yesterday's 22,842 cases.About 180 deaths were recorded during the period, according to the Health Ministry.
India reported 23,529 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, an increase of 24 per cent from yesterday when the country had recorded less than 20,000 cases. At least 311 deaths due to the coronavirus were also reported in the last 24 hours.
India reported 38,948 fresh COVID-19 cases today, 8.9 per cent lower than yesterday. The total active cases is 4,04,874. The government said so far 68.75 crore doses of vaccines have been administered across the country.
