The High Court said that one can claim compensation meant for frontline health workers who died of COVID, either under the State government scheme or the Union government schemes but not both.

Bench led by Chief Justice Dipankar Datta also directed the State to take “earnest steps” to assist the applicants in filing their claims through the online portal.
