The new caller tune has a female voice and spreads awareness about the vaccination drive.
Unlike the previous one which began with a coughing sound followed by a cautionary note on COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and precautions, the new one educates people about the vaccines developed in India that are safe and effective.

New Delhi: Good news for the ones who were absolutely done listening to Amitabh Bachchan s voice every time you made a call. A few days ahead of the roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccine, the caller tune featuring Amitabh Bachchan s voice has been replaced with a new one.
Starting from January 15, you will hear a female voice when you make a call. The new caller tune with female voice will talk about the novel coronavirus vaccination drive in the country. Since March last year, when the COVID-19 pandemic entered our lives, we have been listening to Big B s voice, mentioning all the safety measures one must follow to avoid contracting the deadly virus.
