This is the system that brought rain to the bay area. Still spreading rain into the Sierra Nevada. Its weakening and were looking at the rotation around this area of low pressure. That has spread lightning as close as napa last night. But for the bay area, its all about the widespread stratus locally. We still have some smoke in the Sierra Nevada drifting into the mountains while our stable atmosphere will clear on out and give us more sunshine today. So a mixture of clouds. Heres a look at the sierra where it looks pretty gray out there. Well see temperatures a little cooler today, inland, upper 70s to upper 80s and the warmest inland valleys.
