Pringles partners with Wendyâs on spicy chicken-flavored chip

Pringles is harnessing the flavors of Wendyâs spicy chicken sandwich in its newest limited-edition chip flavor.
The snack brand of Battle Creek-based Kellogg Company said Thursday that it is rolling out a snack that packs the magic of Wendyâs spicy chicken sandwich into a single Pringles crisp.
Replicating the fiery spice blend of Wendyâs spicy chicken was a task for the flavor innovators at Pringles, who were no strangers to partnering with the fast-food chain to replicate fan-favorite flavors.
âOur partnership with Wendyâs is a match made in flavor heaven, so weâre thrilled to have another (collaboration) with an equally talked about, fan-favorite menu item,â said Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles. âFollowing the enthusiasm for Pringles Baconator, we knew we had to challenge ourselves and perfectly capture the flavor of another
Cheez-It celebrates 100th birthday with special limited-edition cake

Kellogg Co.’s Cheez-It is turning 100 years old this year and is celebrating its centennial with a cake made by celebrity chef Stephanie Izard that will be sold online to a limited number of takers per day.
The Cheez-It Cheez-Itennial Cake will be available nationwide on Goldbelly, an online food marketplace. Beginning noon Monday and running through Thursday, people can click here for a chance to buy a Cheez-Itennial Cakes. A limited supply will be released each day, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Cheez-Itennial Cake is bursting with an entire box of Cheez-It crackers, from the ground Cheez-It flour in the batter to the Cheez-It shortbread crumble between each layer. The cake is balanced to salty-sweet tastes with swirls of caramel throughout and chocolate-covered Cheez-It crackers popping out the top.
Snap, Crackle and Pop will serve up the quintessential flavors of summer in the form of a returning Rice Krispies Treats flavor and a new mini snack pack this spring.
