Attorney General for India KK Venugopal on Monday opposed a plea filed in the Supreme Court, seeking to enforce fundamental duties as enshrined in Part IV-A of the Constitution of India.
The Supreme Court on Friday sought Centre and others response on a petition seeking to enforcement of fundamental duties as enshrined in the Constitution and to frame guidelines for taking appropriate adequate steps to sensitize the people and spread general awareness among the citizens in relation to the performance of fundamental duties under the Constitution of India.

Govt wants Tribunals Reforms Bill 2021 passed in Lok Sabha: Hereâs all you need to know about the Bill set to abolish 9 tribunals
The government intends to get the Tribunals Reforms Bill, 2021 passed in the lower house despite continuous disruptions by the opposition parties.
The Bill seeks to further amend the Cinematograph Act, 1952, the Customs Act, 1962, the Airports Authority of India Act, 1994, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers Rights Act, 2001 and certain other Acts.
