Reporter as we walked around with the governor, it was hard to see what everybody was seeing, neighborhood after neighborhood after neighborhood. The governor thought it was a good idea to see all firsthand. We had temperatures today that werent that warm, humidities relatively high, but a couple days ago, we had the 105, 106 degree temperatures, so the brush is dry, fuels are very dry. Lets take a look at what we have out there for conditions of the fire, at the time of the fire. Highs were in the 70s. Thats not bad. Look at the humidity, 40 . Thats relatively high, and the winds were not gusting as they were yesterday. So despite a lack of prime fire conditions, this thing got going. We had a couple fires yesterday, too. It was windier yesterday. But the idea being, its our fire season, mediterranean climate, try summer, meaning well see a lot more of this. It wasnt even a high fire danger day. When i come back, ill be talking about your bay area weekend forecast, and in that forecast, fire danger is going to be elevated. For example at the bay bridge your traffic is eight minutes or less as you drive across the entire span to the San Francisco side of the bridge. Lets talk about weather and traffic. A little chilly out there. I would say so. No doubt about it. 40s to the north bay. We do have some fog but it will burn off sooner today. Not nearly as much as yesterday. It will be a little warmer today and over the weekend. Next week is showing signs of being cooler again. San francisco has some fog. We have a nice twitter picture of we built this city. But there is some breaks off in the distance and it will burn off. We will go 67 today in the city which is right about where you should be. Some patchy fog but again mainly favoring south and there is not nearly as much as yesterday that is for sure. 43 napa airport. 43. 47 santa rosa.
